This little number by Gabrielle Union was a hit!
If you know me then you know that I love a bargain and I love to look cute. LOL When you can marry the two I’m all in. My shopaholic niece ordered this cute dress from New York and Company. Lucky for me she couldn’t fit it so she gave it to me. I couldn’t wait to wear it. It’s from the new Gabrielle Union collection which Gabrielle launched earlier this year. I would say her line is sophisticated, stylish, professional, chic and sexy. She has items from casual to business. I’m loving that celebrities like Gabrielle, Kerry Washington, and Eva Mendes are coming out with lines that are allowing women to go to work looking fabulous without breaking the bank. They offer other types of attire as well but for a long time business wear was limited so I’m particularly excited about that. Now we have options.

I wore the dress in this picture to a cancer brunch at my mother’s church. As soon as I got out of the car a lady said “I love your dress!”. I got tons of other compliments as well. The dress is flattering for most figures. It doesn’t hug you in areas that most of us are self-conscious about. It covers the arms and glides across the hips. It comes in navy, black and camel. Mine is navy and I couldn’t resist adding a pop of red/orange or poppy in the form of an espadrille. I love an espadrille. I was comfortable and cute! 😉
